He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Ann Hawkins; and his son Edward K. Hawkins. He is survived by: his daughter Robyn Hartman (Robert) of Colonial Heights; and his granddaughter Sarah Guzzo. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
