As we bid Christine Crump farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Christine Crump is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Randolph Crump and Phyllis Prosser Crump; her husband Charles Lee McDaniel Jr.; and her brother Keith Crump. She is survived by: her sons, Charles Clifton McDaniel and Christopher Lee McDaniel (Hope); her grandson Charles Thomas McDaniel; her brothers, Melvin Crump and Kurt W. Crump; and her brother-in-law Michael McDaniel. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the E. Alvin Small Funeral Home, Colonial Heights Chapel (2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, VA 23834). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Blandford Cemetery (319 S Crater Rd, Petersburg, VA 23803).
