It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Chester Bud Grant of Colonial Heights, Virginia, who passed away on January 22, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Arnold Grant and Olive Best Grant; and his grandson Christopher R. Gates. He is survived by: his significant other Drema L. Burton; his children, Patty Gates (Keith), Kenny Grant (Cindy) and Sharon Boyd (Alan); his grandchildren, Ryan Grant (Emily), Brittany Needham (Mike) and Grant Boyd (Kelsey); his great grandchildren, Conor, Brody Grant, Peyton, Baylor Boyd and Alyssa Rackley; and his brothers, Wayne Grant, Walter Grant and Larry Grant.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Southlawn Memorial Park (1911 Birdsong Road, S, Prince George, Virginia 23805).
