“My mother, Marie Hastings, my sisters and I are so sorry to hear of Anne’s passing on March 9. Anne, her husband, Carl, our mother and father, Glen Hastings, were good friends during their adult lives in Colonial Heights. Mom and Dad enjoyed monthly block parties with Anne, Carl and other neighbor friends for many years. Later in their widowed lives, Anne and Mom were part of a monthly bridge club, part of a continuing bond of friendship. A generation is passing- let’s honor them.❤️”
