She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Ayres; her parents, George Morris and Leslie Morris; and her half-sisters, Nora Sampson and Mae Wood.
She is survived by: her children, Dabney Carlton Ayres and Gail Ayres Davies (Bankhead); her sister Mara Calabrese; her granddaughters, Christen Davies (Nick Donovan), Caitlin Davies and Kimberly Davies; her stepgrandson James Lumpkin; her great grandchildren, Thomas Donovan and Alexandra Donovan; and her nieces and nephews, David "Chip" and Deane Morris.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Colonial Beach Baptist Church (131 3rd St, Colonial Beach, VA 22443). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
