She was predeceased by: her parents, John Anthony and Anna Elizabeth Hynds Bell; her husband Bernard Francis Shanley; her daughter Bernadette Frances Meredith; her grandsons, Kraig Jason Meredith and Thomas James Rooney; and her siblings, Dorothy Stephens and John Bell.

She is survived by: her daughter Kelly Anne Rooney (Todd); her grandsons, Patrick Francis Rooney and John Michael Rooney; her great grandchild Cameron; and her sisters, Barbara Delabo, Geraldine Hessert, Carol Perry, Nancy Creedon, Suzanne Hartman and Lynne Guenot. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
