It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Hayden Fowler of Colonial Beach, Virginia, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on December 21, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen E. Fowler and George W. Fowler; and his siblings, George "Bitsy" Fowler and Virginia Hughes. He is survived by: his sons, Richard H. Fowler, Jr. (Kristen) of Fairfax and Michael B. Fowler of Tappahannock, Virginia; and his siblings, Zoe Ann Vest of Port Royal, Anthony Fowler of Scottsville, Mary Russell of Valley Lee and Jamie Fowler of Avenue, Maryland.. He is also survived by four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
