He is survived by: his wife Charlene Hooks; his children, Philip Alexander Hooks II (Candice) and Amy Marie Hooks; his sister Michele Bacskocky; and his grandchildren, Emily Hooks, Cecil Whitaker and Lilah Hooks. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
