He is survived by: his pet Harley; his children, Michael Staples (Rebecca) and Laura Ruiz Staples; his close friend Mary Inscoe; his grandchildren, Will Staples, Samantha Staples, Laelah Staples and Tatyana Nava; and his great grandchildren, Jayden Reynolds and Zoe Staples.
