With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Lee Danielle Wathen Padgett of Colonial Beach, Virginia, born in La Plata, Maryland, who passed away on February 22, 2023 at the age of 37. She was predeceased by: her daughter Angel Wathen Padgett; and her grandparents, Mary Rose Henderson, Jerry "Grandaddy" Wathen, Allen "PaPa" Austin and Anthony "PopPop" Katsakis.
She is survived by: her parents, John "Billy" Wathen and Mary Elizabeth "Beth" Katsakis (Nicholas Katsakis); her mother-in-law Laura Carter Wathen; her husband Jimmy Padgett; her children, Ryhan, Alynn, Billie, Love, Ghavin, James and Camden; her siblings, Gabrielle Wathen, Hannah Wathen, Anthony Katsakis and Christopher Wathen; her niece Alyssa Wathen; her cousin Emma Austin; and her close friend Megan Collier. She is also survived by numerous other cousins, relatives, and dear friends.
