He is survived by: his stepmother Catherine Ferrell; his wife Joni Jenkins Ferrell; his children, James Lewis Ferrell, Jr., Jonathan Kyle Ferrell and Jennifer Dawn Ferrell; his grandchildren, Matt Ferrell, Chris Ferrell, Jamie Hill and Blake Somerville; his great grandchild Madison Ferrell; and his brothers, Charles Pitts and Robert Pitts.
