George Albert Young Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 15, 2020, at the age of 78, George Albert Young of Colonial Beach, Virginia, born in Washington, District of Columbia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Albert and Billie May Fleischhauer Young; and his brother William Steven Young. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Marchant Young; his children, Dawn Bernard (Kirk) and Bart Young (Stephanie); his grandchildren, John Derek Bernard (Megan), Della Elizabeth Young, Anne Marie Bernard and Johnna Gray Young; his siblings, Robert Lee Young (Carol) and Cynthia May Young; his sister-in-law Linda H. Young; and his close friend Pat FitzGerald. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Colonial Beach United Methodist Church or to the Colonial Beach Volunteer Rescue Squad.
