He is survived by: his wife Deborah Martin Thompson; his sons, Troy McDaniel Thompson, Jr. (Natalie) and Tracy Michael Thompson (Sonya); his stepson Robert Denit Sink; his daughter Elizabeth Thompson Stoneman; his sisters, Rowena Harmon and Carl-Jean Duncan; and his grandchildren, Marshall Thompson, Abigail, Jackson Thompson, Johnny Stoneman, Katie and R. J. Sink.
