She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Turner and Mildred Gillispe Turner Rakes of Virginia; her husband Wallace Lester Gusler; her sons, Ronald Gusler and Wallace Gusler, Jr.; her granddaughter Ruby Gusler; her brother Larry Turner; and her stepfather Harbour Rakes.
She is survived by: her son Robert Gusler (Brandi) of Martinsville; her grandson David Gusler (Cindy) of Christiansburg; her great grandchild Caroline Gusler; her half-brothers, Jimmy Rakes and H. D. Rakes; her sister Alberta Brown; and her half-sister Betty Wray. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
