She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Freeling Shelton and Rilla Lawless Shelton; and her husband Stephen Terry Swafford. She is survived by: her brother Billy Shelton (Bonny) of Danville; her nephew Marcus Shelton of Summerfield, NC; her nieces, Debbie Deane of Danville and Jennifer Thomas of Danville; and her close friends, Reggie, Jeanie Mayhew of Collinsville and Peggy Young of Bassett.
