He was predeceased by: his parents, George William and Annie Law Cooper; and his wife Elsie Smith Cooper. He is survived by: his son Jeff; his daughter-in-law Kim Sprouse; his daughter Mara Ann Edwards; and his grandchildren, Makayla Sprouse, Ben, Joshua and Chris Grindstaff.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home (103 Clearview Dr, Martinsville, VA 24112). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
