She is survived by: her mother Charlotte Mackintosh Edens; her brothers, Charles Gregory Edens, Jr. (Camilla Easter) and Richard Stuart Edens (Courtney) of Denver, CO; her close friend Patrick Manuel Shelton; her aunts and uncles, Linda Mackintosh Parks (Michael) of Elon, NC, Kathy Edens Billings of Burlington, NC, Mic S. Mackintosh of Richmond, VA and Robert G. Edens of Person County, NC.; and her pets, Yoshi, Bowser, Monty and Scarlett Begonia.
In memory of Michie, memorials may be made to Noble Academy, where she flourished during her high school years.
