It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matildah Greer Thompson (Collinsville, Virginia), who passed away on April 11, 2020, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eva and Warner L. Greer, Sr.; her spouse Jimmie Thompson; her brothers, Warner L. Greer, Jr. of Roanoke and Anthony Greer (late Bonnie) of Collinsville; and her brother-in-law Ralph Leonard Carter of Bassett.
She is survived by: her sons, Doug Greer of Bassett and Lucas of Collinsville; her siblings, Clinton Greer (Joni), Ann Carter of Axton and Barbara Barrows (Ronnie Hopkins) of Stokesdale, NC.; and her sister-in-law Julia Greer of Roanoke. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
