He was predeceased by: his father Maynard Via; and his half-brother Earl McKinley Via (Butch). He is survived by: his siblings, Diane Jones and Donald Via (Michelle); his nieces, Amber Stone (Jarrett), Heather Braddock (Stephen) and Morgan Via; his great-niece Caraline Lawrence; and his great-nephews, Matthew Stone, Mason Lawrence and Peyton Braddock.
