She was predeceased by: her parents, George Compton Shelton and Mary Emma Shelton; and her siblings, Helen Shelton Hedrick, Marion Shelton Hutson, Mary Louise Shelton, Reuben L. Shelton, Orelle Foster Shelton, Walter Eugene Shelton and Johnny Curtis Shelton.
She is survived by: her husband Wendell Ray Hubbard; her children, Cynthia Hubbard Headen Martinsville (Mark), Melody Hubbard Reynolds (K. Scott) of Collinsville, VA and Wendell Ray Hubbard II (Carol) of Collinsville, VA; her sister Dorothy Hedrick of Gretna, VA; her grandchildren, Dustin Headen (Jessica), Gavin Headen (Meaghan), Devon Headen, Marybeth Hubbard Deadmond (Jonathan), Bryan Hubbard (Amber), Madeline Reynolds and Makenna Reynolds; and her great grandchildren, Elyse, Zuri, Ivy, Chloe, Kinsleigh, Lincoln and Gwen.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made Chatham Heights Christian Church, 4020 Sunset Dr. Martinsville, VA 24112.
