It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Boothe Dalton of Collinsville, Virginia, born in Franklin, Virginia, who passed away on February 28, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Leonard Boothe and Sarah Ida Peters Boothe. She is survived by: her husband Jack Emerson Dalton; her children, Otis Lee Chaney, Jr., Stanley Boothe Chaney and Linda Chaney Cassell; her granddaughters, Laura Dean Chaney and Carrie Ann Cassell; her sister Elva Boothe Bowling; her children-in-law, Elvie Bryant (Richard) and Paul Cassell (Gloria); and her sister Eunice Ingram (Oliver). She is also survived by five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and eleven great-great-grandchildren.
