He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Evans Clifton and Lillie Morrison Clifton; his wife Doris Geneva Clifton; his stepdaughter Teresa Lynn Rakes; his siblings, Judy Robertson, Lucy Lawson, Getrude, Libern Clifton, Carlos Clifton and Gilmer Clifton; and his granddaughter Jennifer Nemeth.
He is survived by: his son Kenneth Wayne Clifton; his stepchildren, Joyce Nemeth (Joey), Deborah Wilson (Issac) and William Emerson (Kimberly); his brothers, Danny Clifton and Gene Clifton (Shirley); and his grandchildren, Christopher Clifton, William Emerson, Matthew Emerson, Katelynn Emerson, April Wilson, Melody Amaya and Joseph Nemeth.
