It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen Wells Maxey of Collinsville, Virginia, who passed away on January 1, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hassell Wells and Ada Mozelle Rakes Wells; and her sisters, Patsy Wells Roop, Barbara Ann Crowder, Martha Ann Bowman and Gladys Black.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tina Maxey (Jerry), Wendy Maxey and Lisa Clark; her grandchildren, Wesley Maxey, Ceirra Clark and David; and her great grandchild Tucker Dylan Maxey.
Due to the governor's requirements for Covid-19, a face covering is recommended and social distancing is to be observed when visiting at the funeral home.
