It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Wayne Wright of Collinsville, Virginia, born in Henry County, Virginia, who passed away on July 7, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Willis Henry and Lillan Spears Wright; and his siblings, Shirley McCollum, Linda Wright, Gary Wright, Donald Wright and Tommie Wright.

He is survived by : his wife Peggy Turner Wright; his sons, Jeff Wright of Collinsville, VA and Randy Determan (Austin) of Harrisburg, NC; his siblings, Carl Wright (Faye) of Bassett, VA and June Mitchell of King, NC; his niece April (Rick Fail) of Reidsville, NC; and his grandchildren, Peyton and Allie Determan. He is also survived by fur baby, China; and several others nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 10th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Bassett Funeral Service (3665 Fairystone Park Hwy, Bassett, VA 24055). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 10th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
