She is survived by: her sons, Edward Hairston (Barbara), Cleon Hairston (Tonya), Anthony Douglas Hairston (Tabitha), Marlon Hairston (Sherry), Philip Hairston (Tracey) and Byron Hairston; and her sister Myrtle Martin. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
