He is survived by: his children, Susan Yvonne Shelton of Martinsville, VA, Donna Whitener (Ed) of Collinsville, VA and Timothy Shelton of Martinsville, VA; his grandchildren, Jason Elgin, Melissa Elgin, Dustin Elgin, Daniel Whitener and Ginny Whitener; and his great grandchildren, Nicholas Fisher and Olivia Fisher.
