He is survived by: his children, Betty Hollandsworth, Peggy Harmon, Eva Mayhew (Sandy) and George Ray Shelton, Jr.; and his grandchildren, Mitch Lackey, Teffaney Ebert, Kim Rea, Latisha Kilby, Sabrina Chaney, Samuel Hollandsworth and Chloe Mayhew.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home (103 Clearview Dr, Martinsville, VA 24112). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
