He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Patrick Brown and Florence Karnes Brown; and his former wife Shirley Elaine Brown. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Justine Wright Brown; his children, Sandy Brown Wood (Tim) of Bassett, VA, Donald Brown, Jr. (Lisa) of Danville, VA and Gary Brown (Rebecca) of Martinsville, VA; his sister Marie Piatt of Ridgecrest, CA; his grandchildren, William P. Brown, Justin Brown, Ashley Haymore, Brittaney Brown, Amber Wood and Matt Wood; and his great grandchildren, Addie Brown, Keagan Brown, Morgan Haymore and Bexley Brown.
