He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter David Spencer and Clemmie Helms Spencer; and his brother Mickey Spencer. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Wells Spencer; his sons, Barry Wayne Spencer (Rhonda) and Brandon Lee Spencer (Kami); his siblings, Carolyn Spencer Jackson (Joe) and Ronnie Spencer (Jeanette); his grandchildren, Troy Spencer and Amber Spencer; and his great grandchildren, Lilliana Hodge, Teagan Sigmon and Thaddeus Sigmon.
