He is survived by: his wife Ernestine Putnam Tyler; his children, Kim Joyce (Kenny) of Collinsville, VA, Margaret Winkler (Bill) of Roanoke, VA and Danny Tyler (Sherrie) of Roanoke, VA.; his grandchildren, Jordan Johnson (Brandon), Jake Joyce, Trey Tyler and Tatum Tyler; and his great grandchildren, Aliyah and Jakobe Johnson.
