It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bobby Gene Merriman of Collinsville, Virginia, born in Fieldale, Virginia, who passed away on April 8, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Henry Clay; and his brother James "Butch" Merriman. He is survived by: his wife Susie C. Merriman; his children, Tim Merriman (Cheryl) and Tina Reed (Bobby); his grandchildren, Cameron Cooper (Kiah), Cody Merriman, Kristen Alderman (Jeff), Megan Spencer (Stephen) and Clay Merriman (Ashton); his great grandchildren, Sadie Spencer, Kiah Cooper and Maybel Spencer; and his siblings, Mike Merriman (Debbie), Judy Lupton and Becky Stegall (Doug). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
