He was predeceased by: his parents, Tusco Winchester and Delorace Winchester; the mother of his children Ileata "Bee" Winchester; his sons, Kevin and Mark Winchester; and his sisters, Ivanelle Prillaman and Shirley Truby.

He is survived by: his son Jeff Winchester; and his sister Jean Blankenship. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
