She was predeceased by: her husband John Harvey Joyce; her daughter Gail Joyce Smith; her siblings, Peggy Lawson, Betty L. Davis, Paul Lawson and Dewey Lawson; and her grandchild Chris Stultz.
She is survived by: her children, Vickie Joyce Pauley of Patrick Springs, VA, Joan Joyce Turner of Patrick Springs, VA, June Joyce Martin of Kernersville, NC, John "Steve" Joyce of Franklin Co and Roger W. Joyce of Franklin Co; and her siblings, Barbara Guilliams of Rocky Mount, VA, Joy Gammons of Fieldale, VA, Claude Lawson of Danville, VA, Nash Lawson of Collinsville, VA and David Lawson of Collinsville, VA.. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren.
