She was predeceased by: her parents, Roxie Dean and Orbin Rose; and her sisters, Susie Pridemore, Norma Jean Rose and Trina Rose.
She is survived by: her stepfather Wilburn Dean of Norton, VA.; her daughter Valerie Person (Jared); her stepson Clayton Taylor (A. J.) of Big; her grandsons, Andrew "Blaine" Stone of Kingsport, TN., Devin Person of Appalachia, VA., Bueford "Tike" Fogarty and Roy Green; her siblings, Liz Addair of Wise, VA., Ricky Rose (Roseann) of Castlewood, VA., Dolores Stapleton of Wise, VA. and Orbin Rose of Coeburn, VA.; and her stepsister Gail Meade (Bobby) of Norton, VA.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
