Teddie Ray Smith Sr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 22, 2025, Teddie Ray Smith Sr. of Coeburn, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Smith and Opal Smith of Tom's Creek, VA; his sister Anita Love (Melba J. Smith); his grandson Joshua P. Smith; his stepdaughter Kami R. Morgan; and his stepgranddaughters, Brooke J. Morgan and Jessica Huff Hollyfield.
He is survived by: his wife Marie Morgan Smith; his children, Rev. Ted R. Smith, Jr. (Sylvia), Cheryl Clifton (Don) and Steve Smith (Jaci); his grandchildren, Ben, Michelle (Matt), Erin, Chris (Hannah), Tara (Jason), Allen, Lauren (Reheem), Sam and Alexis; his great grandchildren, Liam, Lacey, Jackson, Carter, Nathaniel, Zachery, Sophia, Oriana, Rhea and Colter; and his stepchildren, Angie Legg (Shane) and Frankie Morgan (Aimee).
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sturgill Funeral Home (310 6th St NW, Coeburn, VA 24230). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Herald Church of God of Prophecy PO Box 1845 Coeburn, Virginia 24230.
