It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Ella Stanley (Coeburn, Virginia), who passed away on February 22, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Estele Hale and Maggie Hale; her siblings, Ishamel Hale, Rufus Hale, Juanita Hale, Rita Large and Romeda Salyers (Otis Stanley); her son Otis Neal Stanley; her daughter-in-law Phyllis Stanley; and also Josie Stanley.

She is survived by: her brother J. E. Hale; her daughters, Mona Sue Cantrell (Robert) and Diane Reece (Galen); and her grandchildren, Bradley Stanley (Kaye), Matthew Cantrell (Tanya), Nathan Stanley (Melissa), Sarah McConnell (Michael), Katrell Powers (Josh), Kala Reece and Jeremy Stanley.
