Joseph H. Porter Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Emmett and Golda Lawson Porter; his siblings, Garnet, Cecil (Alta), Glen, Fred (Dorothy), Howard, Billy (Diann), Paul Porter (Rhonda), Belle Daugherty (Scott) and Peggy Jordan (Arch); his grandson Justin David Porter; and his nephews, Doug Colston (Jean) and Robert Yeary (Crystal).
He is survived by: his wife Marie McCray Porter; his sons, Randy (Gina) of Coeburn and David Porter of Coeburn; his grandsons, Joseph (Sherry) of Wise and Ryan Porter of Orange, VA; his great grandchildren, Brooklyn Porter and Braydon Porter; his siblings, Janice Yeary (Bud) of Coeburn and Arthur Porter (Wanda) of Abingdon; his niece Jean Kennedy (Paul) of Coeburn; and also, Melissa Hill, Debbie Skeens and Barbara Plaster.
Finally, being more restricted by the COVID pandemic of 2020, he spent the remainder of his years at home with his lovely wife managing his daily paper and keeping track of his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
