She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Large Sr. and Clista Dotson Large; and her brothers, Curtis Large Jr. and Jimmy Large. She is survived by: her husband Raymond Middleton; her sons, Russell Middleton of Rogersville and Jamie Middleton (Reaycca) of Clintwood; her daughter-in-law Kelly Middleton of Rogersville; her sister Lynn Pauley of Coeburn; her grandsons, Justin Middleton, Peyton Middleton, Dylan Bolling, Kenna Middleton, Taylor Dotson and Ethan Dotson; and her great grandchild Jaxson Dotson.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sturgill Funeral Home (310 6th St NW, Coeburn, VA 24230). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 1st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel (310 6th St NW, Coeburn, VA 24230). A procession was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 12:20 PM at the Sturgill Funeral Home (310 6th St NW, Coeburn, VA 24230). A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Greenwood Acres Cemetery (436 Centre Ave NE, Coeburn, VA 24230).
