He is survived by: his wife Betty Large Pannell; his son Chris Pannell (Joy) of Abingdon, VA.; and his sisters, Judy Kimbler of Newport, VA., Linda McCoy (Dudley) of Coeburn, VA., Charlotte Dotson (Hassel) of Idaho, Sandy Hillman (George), Susie Thomas (John) of Keokee, VA., Jackie Harrison (Wayne) of Coeburn, VA., Betty Smith (Jimmy) of Richmond, VA. and Faye Buchanan of Kingsport, TN.. He is also survived by three grandsons, three great grandsons, one great granddaughter, several nieces, and nephews.
