She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmitt Pridemore and Vesta Mae Musick Harvey; her husband Joseph Brummett; her son Joe Lee Brummett; and her siblings, William Bill Harvey, Orbin Harvey, Leon Harvey, Tomas Harvey, Roy Harvey, Daniel Harvey, Curtis Harvey, Elsie Cook, Lucille Beavers and Molly Harvey.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Wayne Brummett of Coeburn, Rita Fay Willis of Dante and Pearlie May Carter (David Carter) of Coeburn; and her sisters, Retha Younce of Sandusky, Anna Lou Smith of Coeburn and Lilly Jacobs of Coeburn. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 19 step great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sturgill Funeral Home (310 6th St NW, Coeburn, VA 24230). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel (310 6th St NW, Coeburn, VA 24230). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at the Harvey Cemetery.
