He is survived by: his wife Krista Meade Gibson of Coeburn; his children, Courtney Herron (Seth) of Roanoke and Cole Gibson of Lexington; his grandson Wyatt Herron; his siblings, Bud Gibson, Johnny Gibson (Sonya Lynn) and Fredia Wears; his siblings-in-law, Chuck Brush and Jenny Gibson of Marion; and his brother Glenn Roberts of St. Paul. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
