He is survived by: his son Phillip Clay (Debbie); his grandchildren, Chris Clay (Candace), Tim Clay (Melanie), Megan Gilley (Justin) of Coeburn, VA. and McKenzie Yates (Ben); and his great grandchildren, Taylor Clay of Coeburn, VA., Dakota Clay of Coeburn, VA., Hunter Clay of Coeburn, VA., Phillip Clay of Coeburn, VA., Fletcher Clay of Coeburn, VA., Nolan Clay of Coeburn, VA. and Annalynn Clay of Coeburn, VA..
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Sturgill Funeral Home (310 6th St NW, Coeburn, VA 24230). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at the Greenwood Acres Cemetery (436 Centre Ave NE, Coeburn, VA 24230).
