He was predeceased by: his mother Nancy Salyer; and his parents-in-law, Cecil and Cora Hoback. He is survived by: his wife Sandy Salyer; his son Chris; his daughter-in-law Amanda Salyer; his grandsons, Alex and Luke Salyer; his siblings, Jeff Salyer (Martha Hale) of Coeburn, VA., Irene Hoback (Bobby) of Coeburn, VA., Carol Salyer (Bobby McFall) of Knoxville, TN. and Lynn Collins (Steve) of Wise, VA.; and his pet Marlee Grace. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
