She was predeceased by: her father Delmer Smith Sr.. She is survived by: her husband Roger Garrett; her children, Rod Garrett (B. J.) of Coeburn, VA and Christy Garrett (Jason Bolling) of Wise, VA; her mother Shirley Williams of Norton, VA; her grandchildren, Hobie Salyers and Brooklyn Garrett; her brothers, Michael Steven Smith of Dungannon, VA and Delmer Smith Jr. of Dungannon, VA; her parents-in-law, J. D. and Thelma Garrett of Coeburn, VA; her close friend Hines Garrett; and her sister-in-law Tessa Humes. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
