She is survived by: her friend Green Point; her brother James P. "Jimmy" Mitchem; her granddaughter Jena Zarling (David); her nephew J. Michael Mitchem (Lynnette); her nieces, Amy E. Mitchem and Debbie Mitchem Pickwick (David); her cousins, Katie Dutton (Sammy), Phyllis Karas and JoAnn Yancey (Herb); her granddaughter Karen Wheeler; and her caregivers, April Eller and Torrie Walton. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mathews Volunteer Fire Department, Mathews Volunteer Rescue Squad, or the Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society.
