It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Watson Ward of Cobbs Creek, Virginia, who passed away on October 29, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Ward and Charlotte Ward. He is survived by: his wife Frances Pierce Ward; his daughter Deborah Ward McKeon (Timothy); his grandsons, John Pierce McKeon and William Keating McKeon (Kristen); his stepgreat-granddaughters, Ruby and Isabella; and his siblings-in-law, John Robert Pierce and Mildred Smith Stillman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
