It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Brenda Callis of Cobbs Creek, Virginia, who passed away on June 17, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Brenda Callis to show support.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Fariss, Sr. and Pearl McKenney Fariss. She is survived by: her husband Melvin Callis; her children, Matt (Tanya), Adam (Carrie) and Bekah Elmore (Dan); her brother Jessie Fariss, Jr. (Karen); and her pet Abigail Elizabeth. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and in-laws.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, a Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent to Mathews Chapel United Methodist church, marked for the Mattaponi Healing Eagle Clinic, P.O. Box 125, Cobbs Creek, VA, 23035.
