She was predeceased by: her husband George Forrest Bowe; her parents, Chester Snider and Lillian Snider; and her sisters, Betty Snider Aker and Shirley Snider Stiltner.
She is survived by: her daughters, Martha Bowe Kirby (Rodney) of Atlanta and Diane Bowe Bowles (Michael) of Blue Ridge; her sister Charlotte Snider Wilson; and her sister-in-law Betty Bowe Nichols. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and many special nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Oakey's East Chapel (5188 Cloverdale Rd, Roanoke, VA 24019). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Meals on Wheels, 4932 Frontage Road NW, Roanoke, VA 24019.
