It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Clarence Hansford Sr. of Cloverdale, Virginia, born in Marlinton, West Virginia, who passed away on November 14, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Darrel Clarence Hansford and Daisy Blanche Candler Hansford; and his sister Dorothy Hansford Bowles. He is survived by: his wife Thelma Jean Kramer Hansford of Cloverdale, Virginia; his children, Donald Clarence Hansford, Jr. (Amanda) of Valparaiso and Susan Hansford Williams (Carl) of Troutville, Virginia; his grandchildren, Roselyn Bourand, Simon Williams and Donald Dakota Hansford; his great grandchildren, Ayanna, Christian and Alexis; and his siblings, Denny Lee Hansford (Hilda "Boo Boo") of Hot Springs, Virginia, Donna Sue Buckingham (Charles) of Morgantown and Delores Jean Ball of Hamlin. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
