He was predeceased by: his wife Mavis Martin; his parents, Andrew Jackson "Jack" Martin and Virginia Gertrude Glass Martin of Clover; his brothers, Wyatt Martin, Andrew "Butch" Martin and Clyde "Moody" Martin; and his in-laws, Monroe and Louise Martin.
He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Martin (Dwight), Patricia "Sissie" Smart (Robbie) and Randy Martin of Scottsburg; his granddaughters, Stephanie Elliott (Mitch) of Clover and Christie Harrell (Adam) of Midlothian; his great grandchildren, A. J., Daniel, Jace, Clara, Jackson, Carlisle, Riley and Jonathan; his siblings, Tommy Martin (Ginny) of Clover, Agnes Fitch of Halifax, Easter Fitch of Powhatan, Betty Ann Mills of Lillington, NC, Mary Lee Conner of Midlothian and Janice Fisher (David) of Alton; and his siblings-in-law, Martin, D. D. Martin, Wayne, Dorothy Moorefield, Lois Ogle (Rickie), Joyce Newcomb, Vicky Lacks (Jeff) and Sheila Lloyd (Harrison). He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
